I hope you find the time to read this with an open mind. It's interesting. Please read it with the open mind rather than immediately breaking it down into left or right, but rather look at it from the neutral viewpoint of right or wrong. It's like the line below says, "what if he is right?"
Take the three minutes to read this. Maybe he is wrong, but what if he’s right?
David Kaiser is a respected historian whose published works have covered a broad range of topics, from European Warfare to American League Baseball. Born in 1947, the son of a diplomat, Kaiser spent his childhood in three capital cities: Washington D.C. , Albany , New York , and Dakar , Senegal ... He attended Harvard University , graduating there in 1969 with a B.A. in history. He then spent several years more at Harvard, gaining a PhD in history, which he obtained in 1976.. He served in the Army Reserve from 1970 to 1976.
He is a professor in the Strategy and Policy Department of the United States Naval War College . He has previously taught at Carnegie Mellon, Williams College and Harvard University . Kaiser's latest book, The Road to Dallas, about the Kennedy assassination, was just published by Harvard University Press.
I am a student of history. Professionally, I have written 15 books on history that have been published in six languages, and I have studied history all my life. I have come to think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is simply a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these exist, but they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only now coming into a sharper focus..
Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it.. Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about ten to fifteen years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two.
We demand and then codify into law the requirement that our banks make massive loans to people we know they can never pay back? Why?
We learned just days ago that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no real oversight by anyone, has "loaned" two trillion dollars (that is $2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us to whom or why or disclose the terms. That is our money. Yours and mine. And that is three times the $700 billion we all argued about so strenuously just this past September. Who has this money? Why do they have it? Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who authorized it? I thought this was a government of "we the people," who loaned our powers to our elected leaders. Apparently not.
We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our economy... Why?
We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history, and no longer teach our founding documents, why we are exceptional, and why we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write, think critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting, teachers are not picketing, school boards continue to back mediocrity. Why?
We have now established the precedent of protesting every close election (violently in California over a proposition that is so controversial that it simply wants marriage to remain defined as between one man and one woman. Did you ever think such a thing possible just a decade ago?) We have corrupted our sacred political process by allowing unelected judges to write laws that radically change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist groups like ACORN and others to turn our voting system into a banana republic. To what purpose?
Now our mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free fall, major industries are failing, our banking system is on the verge of collapse, social security is nearly bankrupt, as is Medicare and our entire government. Our education system is worse than a joke (I teach college and I know precisely what I am talking about) - the list is staggering in its length, breadth, and depth.. It is potentially 1929 x ten...And we are at war with an enemy we cannot even name for fear of offending people of the same religion, who, in turn, cannot wait to slit the throats of your children if they have the opportunity to do so.
And finally, we have elected a man that no one really knows anything about, who has never run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as big as Wasilla , Alaska .. All of his associations and alliances are with real radicals in their chosen fields of employment, and everything we learn about him, drip by drip, is unsettling if not downright scary (Surely you have heard him speak about his idea to create and fund a mandatory civilian defense force stronger than our military for use inside our borders? No? Oh, of course. The media would never play that for you over and over and then demand he answer it. Sarah Palin's pregnant daughter and $150,000 wardrobe are more important.)
Mr. Obama's winning platform can be boiled down to one word: Change.. Why?
I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am now.
This man campaigned on bringing people together, something he has never, ever done in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama will divide us along philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try to realign the pieces into a new and different power structure. Change is indeed coming. And when it comes, you will never see the same nation again.
And that is only the beginning..
As a serious student of history, I thought I would never come to experience what the ordinary, moral German must have felt in the mid-1930s In those times, the "savior" was a former smooth-talking rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the average German knew next to nothing. What they should have known was that he was associated with groups that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage through great oratory. Conservative "losers" read it right now.
And there were the promises. Economic times were tough, people were losing jobs, and he was a great speaker. And he smiled and frowned and waved a lot. And people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for fear that his "brown shirts" would bully and beat them into submission. Which they did - regularly. And then, he was duly elected to office, while a full-throttled economic crisis bloomed at hand - the Great Depression. Slowly, but surely he seized the controls of government power, person by person, department by department, bureaucracy by bureaucracy. The children of German citizens were at first, encouraged to join a Youth Movement in his name where they were taught exactly what to think. Later, they were required to do so. No Jews of course,
How did he get people on his side? He did it by promising jobs to the jobless, money to the money-less, and rewards for the military-industrial complex. He did it by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country, across Europe , and across the world. He did it with a compliant media - did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and .... . ... change. And the people surely got what they voted for.
If you think I am exaggerating, look it up. It's all there in the history books.
So read your history books. Many people of conscience objected in 1933 and were shouted down, called names, laughed at, and ridiculed. When Winston Churchill pointed out the obvious in the late 1930s while seated in the House of Lords in England (he was not yet Prime Minister), he was booed into his seat and called a crazy troublemaker. He was right, though. And the world came to regret that he was not listened to.
Do not forget that Germany was the most educated, the most cultured country in Europe . It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals, laboratories, and universities. And yet, in less than six years (a shorter time span than just two terms of the U. S. presidency) it was rounding up its own citizens, killing others, abrogating its laws, turning children against parents, and neighbors against neighbors.. All with the best of intentions, of course.. The road to Hell is paved with them.
As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I have a choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust); I can believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven decades; or I can hope I am wrong by closing my eyes, having another latte, and ignoring what is transpiring around me..
I choose to believe the evidence. No doubt some people will scoff at me, others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or both. To some degree, perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in the eye and tell them exactly what I believe-and why I believe it.
I pray I am wrong. I do not think I am. Perhaps the only hope is our vote in the next elections.
By passing this along, perhaps it will help to begin the awakening of America as to where we are headed. Who knows though we have a lot of brain dead in what's left of our society!

Two Tier Corporate Tax rate
Herman Cain's “9-9-9” plan of replacing the federal tax with a 9 percent sales tax, 9 percent income tax and a 9 percent corporate tax is a step in the right direction, but I would suggest one change, that being to keep the corporate tax rate at 35% for those products and materials that are imported into America.
America can not recover from Obama's Depression until millions of private sector jobs are created, but there are many road blocks to private sector job creation, the main one being the Obama administration policies. We the People can and will remove that road block on November 6, 2012, with the election of a conservative President and a Conservative Congress. A new conservative administration must make the necessary policy changes that will encourage companies to manufacture their products in the USA.
I have an idea that may encourage companies to do just that. My idea is very simple, create a two (2) tier corporate tax rates, 35% and 9%. This is how it would work; suppliers, manufacturers and retailers would pay 35% on that portion of their taxable corporate income which is derived from materials and/or products imported, and on those materials and/or products made in America the tax rate would be 9%. I know it is next to impossible to have materials and products 100% made in America, but a two (2) tax rate would encourage companies to invest, manufacture and employ American.
Let me give you an example how it would work: Lets say a company has a taxable profit of one million dollars, 50% derived from imports and 50% from made in America. The company would pay $175,000 on the imported and $45,000 on the Made in the USA.
This two (2) tier rate would not reward companies like G.E., who manufacturer products in China and sell them in America.
I don't claim to be an economist, accountant or a tax expert, but think this is a common sense solution to our manufacturing and employment problems. |

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher, who's hand was caught in the squeeze gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his role as our president.

Just in case some of you young whippersnappers (& some older ones) didn't know this. It's easy to check out, if you don't believe it. Be sure and show it to your kids. They need a little history lesson on what's what and it doesn't matter whether you are Democrat or Republican. Facts are Facts!
Social Security Cards up until the 1980s expressly stated the number and card were not to be used for identification purposes. Since nearly everyone in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the message was removed.

Section B and C of the amendments to the debt ceiling bill provides BILLIONS in funding to the IRS for "enhanced tax enforcement" as well as for HEALTH CARE FRAUD AND ABUSE CONTROL.
Here is the text of the information, found on page S4872 of the bill:
(B) INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE TAX ENFORCEMENT.--
(i) IN GENERAL.--If a bill or joint resolution is reported making appropriations in a fiscal year to the Internal Revenue Service of not less than the first amount specified in clause (ii) for tax compliance activities to address the Federal tax gap (taxes owed but not paid), and provides an additional appropriation for tax compliance activities to address the Federal tax gap of an amount further specified in clause (ii), then the discretionary spending limits, allocation to the Committees on Appropriations of each House, and aggregates for that year may be adjusted by the amount in budget authority not to exceed the amount of additional or enhanced tax enforcement provided in such legislation for that fiscal year.
(ii) AMOUNTS SPECIFIED.--The amounts specified are--
(I) for fiscal year 2012, an appropriation of $5,186,000,000, and an additional $715,000,000 for additional or enhanced tax enforcement;
(II) for fiscal year 2013, an appropriation of $5,186,000,000, and an additional $1,281,000,000 for additional or enhanced tax enforcement;
(III) for fiscal year 2014, an appropriation of $5,333,000,000, and an additional $1,639,000,000 for additional or enhanced tax enforcement;
(IV) for fiscal year 2015, an appropriation of $5,489,000,000, and an additional $2,016,000,000 for additional or enhanced tax enforcement;
(V) for fiscal year 2016, an appropriation of $5,662,000,000, and an additional$2,465,000,000 for additional or enhanced tax enforcement;
(VI) for fiscal year 2017, an appropriation of $5,858,000,000, and an additional $2,447,000,000 for additional or enhanced tax enforcement;

(X) for fiscal year 2021, an appropriation of $6,705,000,000, and an additional $2,361,000,000 for additional or enhanced tax enforcement.
(iii) DEFINITION.--In this subparagraph, the term ``additional appropriation for tax compliance activities'' means new and continuing investments in expanding and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the overall tax enforcement and compliance program of the Internal Revenue Service. Such new and continuing investments include, but are not limited to, additional resources for implementing new authorities and for conducting additional examinations, audits, and enhanced third party data matching;
(iv) FIRST AMOUNT.--The first amount specified in clause (ii) is the amount provided for a fiscal year under the heading ``Enforcement'' for the Internal Revenue Service.
(v) AMOUNT FURTHER SPECIFIED.--The amount further specified in clause (ii) is the amount under one or more headings in an appropriations act for the Internal Revenue Service that is specified to pay for the costs of the additional appropriation tax compliance activities, but such amount shall be ``0'' (zero) unless the appropriations act under the heading ``Operations Support'' for the Internal Revenue Service provides that such sums as are necessary shall be available, under the ``Operations Support'' heading, to fully support tax enforcement and compliance activities.
(C) HEALTH CARE FRAUD AND ABUSE CONTROL.--
(i) IN GENERAL.--If a bill or joint resolution is reported making appropriations in a fiscal year for program integrity or fraud and abuse activities under the heading ``Health Care Fraud and Abuse Control Account'' program for the Department of Health and Human Services of up to the amount specified in clause (ii), then the discretionary spending limits, allocation to the Committees on Appropriations of each House, and aggregates for that year may be adjusted in an amount not to exceed the amount in budget authority provided for that program for that fiscal year.
(ii) AMOUNTS SPECIFIED.--The amounts specified are--
(I) for fiscal year 2012, an appropriation of $581,000,000;
(II) for fiscal year 2013, an appropriation of $610,000,000;
(III) for fiscal year 2014, an appropriation of $640,000,000;
(IV) for fiscal year 2015, an appropriation of $672,000,000;

The Soft Dictatorship

Imagine a hypothetical country where small groups of unelected individuals can make law by simply sitting around a conference table deciding they want a new law, even if that law violates the constitution. Those unelected representatives could only be dismissed by the executive power and could essentially do whatever they wanted. Furthermore, imagine if the citizens of that country were not allowed to contest these decisions in court because they didn't have "standing" to do so.
Furthermore, imagine at least one of these agencies would be empowered to go seize the property and businesses of the citizenry without any possibility of outside judicial review. In our hypothetical country, it wouldn't matter if there were an elected body, because the agencies and executives could do pretty much anything they wanted while letting the people have the illusion of electoral control.
The country I am speaking of country isn't Cuba, Russia, or China. Startlingly, the country I am speaking of is the United States of America, bit by bit, and the resulting soft dictatorship is getting worse. The founders of the USA knew that government would always be the enemy of freedom. They knew that if it became easy to pass laws then the freedoms of the Constitution would be completely undermined by an avalanche of restrictive laws. To avoid this fate, they installed checks and balances in the Constitution to make it difficult to pass law as those laws. They would be truly dismayed by the situation we have now some 250 years later.
Currently there are literally hundreds of government agencies that have the power to "regulate" almost any aspect of our lives, from the food we ingest to the way we educate our children. Those agencies have created nearly 200,000 pages of regulations that have the power to deprive the citizens of property and liberty. Yet these regulations are not called law because laws, of course, have to be passed by Congress. Regulations are agreed upon by a small group of regulators that are out of the reach of the election process. All of this happens despite the fact that there is no constitutional basis for Congress being able to delegate the authority to make laws to a third party and the founders probably never conceived they would try to do such a thing. However these agencies have been passing "regulations" in direct violation of the Constitution for decades. For example, apparently Congress cannot pass laws to restrict the Second Amendment but the ATF can pass regulations that have the same effect.
One agency of the federal government in particular has been in direct violation of the Constitution for its entire existence. The IRS has the power to force citizens to incriminate themselves, violating the Fifth Amendment, and prosecutes trials under the premise that taxpayers are guilty until proven innocent, violating the Sixth Amendment. Finally the IRS can seize property and businesses and sell the property and business without a court order, again violating the Fifth Amendment.
In fact, the most terrifying organization in America is the IRS. They are universally feared, and for good reason. However, the IRS is arbitrary in their enforcement; several people in the Obama administration have committed outright tax evasion with no consequences. What would you call an agency with that kind of power and completely arbitrary enforcement?
The final piece to the puzzle of the soft dictatorship is the completely unconstitutional creation of executive orders. Not only is there no basis in the Constitution for executive orders, but executive orders are often used to outright violate the Constitution. Franklin D. Roosevelt used executive orders to demand the seizure of all gold owned by Americans and imprison all Americans of Japanese ancestry. More recently Bill Clinton used executive orders to bypass the Senate ratification of the chemical weapons convention and to try to prevent government contracts going to companies that opposed unions by using strike-breakers.
Republican progressives are no strangers to unconstitutional executive orders either. George W. Bush signed executive orders that, among other things, established an alternative government in the case of a presidentially declared emergency. Barack Obama has continued the tradition of unconstitutional executive orders by granting wide powers to Interpol in America and sealing his own records from inspection, and he is now looking for means to impose gun control through executive orders. If we consider that an executive order can only be overridden by the Supreme Court (which has only happened twice) or a supermajority of Congress, the power of the executive order is downright scary.
Unfortunately the picture is dismal at best. Every two years Americans elect their representatives and every six, they elect their senators. However these elections are little more than a sham to allow Americans to think they still have a republic. There is virtually nothing that the executive branch and regulatory agencies can't do anymore. In fact some liberal talkers have outright called for Obama to rule by executive order and he is heeding their call. When the Cap and Trade bill became impossible to enact, Obama directed the EPA to implement provisions similar to the core thrust of the bill anyway.
America isn't walking into a mine field; it is already deep within the field and in mortal peril of having freedom as we know it perish from the earth. Liberty, after all, is a relatively new experiment in humanity having been around a scant 250 years of several thousand years of human history. In fact dictatorship, autocracy, and tyranny are the norm. The problem with America right now is that people are too anesthetized by the latest reality TV show, celebrity trial, or sex scandal to pay attention to the fact that their freedoms are being stripped from them one at a time. The only hope is for America to finally wake up and return to the libertarian principles that founded the nation.

Wake-Up call for Conservatives
"IF NOT US, THEN WHO, IF NOT NOW, THEN WHEN?" President Ronald Reagan
The Democraps won NY26 Congressional seat and maybe that is a good thing, because we conservatives needed a wake-up call, because we have been getting a little bit to cocky. The polls have shown that the majority of Americans are against ObamaCare, raising the debt ceiling, bailouts and all the out of control spending. If this is true, then why did the Democraps win NY26? Yes, they lied a lot, but that isn't the reason they won. The reason they won is because they gave more financial support to their candidate and they got their people out to vote.
In 17 months there will be another election and if we conservatives don't work together and elect a Conservative President and Congress, then not only will we lose the election, we may just lose our Republic.
Conservatives must work together and support conservative candidates with our time, energy and financial support. We can't sit back and hope someone else will do the heavy lifting. We must volunteer to help conservative candidates in our district & state; make phone calls, stuff envelopes, send emails, knock on doors and financial support the candidate.
Financially support Conservative candidates, now that is hard, because we are living in hard times. We all know family and friends that are unemployed, lost their savings and their home, but things aren't going to get better if Obama and his gang of socialist are returned to office. If that happens, our Republic will be history!
Just imagine how much money could be raised if every Conservative contributed $1 dollar each month, for the next 17 months, to the Conservative candidate of his/her choice. WOW!

MEMORIAL DAY - MAY 30th
Memorial Day is a day when we honor those who have given their all in the defense of our nation. The Pledge of Allegiance is not recited in many our schools today, and I think one way we can honor our fallen heros in the military, CIA, NSA, FBI and HLS, is to teach our children and grandchildren the Pledge of Allegiance, not just words, but the meaning of the words. No one explains the meaning of the words better than Red Skelton. Watch the video with your children and grandchildren.

The author referred to the tragedy that occurred in Arizona as “another predictable mass shooting”. In fact, as horrendous as this attack on innocent people by a crazed lunatic was, there is no way to predict when or how insane behavior will occur, and that is the point. Crazy people do crazy and sometimes horrendous things.
Since the attacker in Arizona chose to use a gun to commit this atrocity, Mr. Miller chose to seize upon the tragedy to promote his own agenda and that of the gun prohibitionists. His disdain of responsible gun ownership, even in the face of recent Supreme Court decisions supporting it, is not a surprise to anyone who has followed his misguided activities over the years. No doubt, if Jared Loughner had chosen instead to drive a pickup truck into a crowd of innocent people, Mr. Miller would have been silent on the matter.
Sadly, innocent people do die every day. Some die in car accidents, some fall down stairs or in bathtubs. No one suggests that we abridge the rights of law-abiding persons to use cars, stairs or bathtubs. For their own reasons, gun prohibitionists like Mr. Miller immediately jump to the assumption that if you get rid of an “object”, you will solve the problem. It is obvious that they have not thought this through.
Gun Control Laws do not and cannot work. They only affect those who already abide by the law; the very people we do not need to control in a free society. Criminals and the insane are not the least bit concerned with following the law. Gun control laws will not affect the behavior of criminals, but they will leave responsible gun owners defenseless and unable to protect their lives and those of their loved ones. If we could predict insanity, then perhaps we could stop the kind of tragedy that happened to those innocent people in Tucson; but sadly, we cannot.
You may have noticed that while referring to “statistics” Mr. Miller was careful not to mention the fact that there is overwhelming evidence that in states that routinely issue carry permits to their citizens, violent crime rates actually tend to drop. For a comprehensive analysis of the data, I recommend a reading of John Lott Jr.’s book “More Guns Less Crime.”
Mr. Miller’s folly is that he fails to distinguish between the criminals and the law-abiding. His mission is to dissarm them all, but in effect, his actions have only succeeded in disarming the innocent. In addition, he asserts that those who believe in the right to keep and bear arms for self-defense want everyone to be armed. Nothing could be further from the truth (which Mr. Miller seems to have an aversion to). Gun rights advocates are human rights advocates. We want the good guys to have the choice to arm themselves for self-defense and we want the bad guys to be disarmed. That is how you reduce crime. Mr. Miller’s efforts are analogous to trying to stop drunk driving by outlawing cars, a preposterous approach and Mr. Miller’s proposed legislative changes are nothing more than statutory binkies. Although they give some people comfort, nothing good ever comes out of them.
Mr. Miller used the word delusion to describe the notion that more guns will lead to less crime. The only delusion is the notion that disarming a law-abiding citizen somehow makes him safe from a vicious criminal. Banning firearms and abridging the freedom of law-abiding individuals will not prevent deaths caused by criminals or the insane; in fact, it makes it easier for them to prey on the defenseless. In the history of humankind, no man and no society has ever been made safer by being disarmed, but many have perished as a result. Thankfully, Mr. Miller’s “tiny minority” who call for states like NJ to become “shall issue” is now approximately six million strong. Six million responsible vetted permit holders who carry for self-defense. One was there that day at Tucson. Because he was armed, Joseph Zamudio ran toward the gunfire and without firing a shot, helped subdue Mr. Loughner, but Mr. Miller left that little tidbit out, didn’t he. Get used to it. He doesn’t want you to know the truth.

Constitutional Amendments to Save America, Part 1

 This is the first of a three-part series about new constitutional amendments needed to rescue America.
Twelve amendments are necessary to repair decades of constitutional and fiscal abuse.
Part 1 covers the first four amendments. These deal with constitutional issues. Part 2 covers additional amendments to restore government accountability and transparency. Part 3 covers the more complicated subjects of balancing the Federal budget, shrinking the size of government, reducing the national debt, and reforming government finances. The twelve proposed amendments are shown below, in no particular order
(Note 1):
- Impose a narrow interpretation of the Commerce Clause.
- Impose a narrow interpretation of the General Welfare Clause.
- Invalidate the “living Constitution” rationale for judicial activism.
- Increase the number of enumerated Federal powers (Note 2).
- Impose stricter lobbying rules and mandatory corruption penalties.
- Revise the 14th Amendment and regain control of our borders.
- Impose term limits, mandatory retirement, transparency mandates.
- Impose limits on the power of government labor unions.
- Impose mandates to balance the Federal budget and reduce debt.
- Impose mandates to reorganize government and limit its cost.
- Limit Federal power to tax under the 16th Amendment.
- Reform government accounting methods and finances.
The American Dream is threatened. The future of millions of Americans is threatened. They are menaced by a Federal government that cannot stop spending money. Even worse, the Federal government borrows 42% of all the money it spends (Note 3). America is headed for bankruptcy and decline. We are also threatened by a very powerful, ineffective and dangerous Federal government. It has unconstitutionally granted itself huge powers that it cannot fairly or competently administer.
Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution enumerates specific powers that the People and the States have delegated to the Federal government. The Federal government has no other powers beyond these enumerated powers (Note 4):
- provide national defense and security
- establish an army and a navy
- declare war and establish rules for military conflict
- establish rules for civilian oversight of the military
- establish uniform rules for training and organizing State militias
- establish a means to engage militias for national defense and security
- conduct foreign diplomacy
- approve treaties and international agreements
- levy and collect taxes, duties and fees
- create money and regulate its value
- borrow money
- establish and enforce counterfeit laws
- regulate foreign and domestic commerce
- establish and operate a nationwide post office system
- establish a uniform system of weights and measures
- establish uniform laws for bankruptcy
- establish uniform laws for immigration and naturalization
- establish a system of Federal courts subordinate to the Supreme Court
- establish a system of patents and copyrights
- acquire land to establish and oversee a Seat of Government (the Capitol)
- erect government buildings and facilities as needed
- acquire land to build fortifications, military bases and arsenals
- admit new Territories and States into the Union
- make laws needed to properly execute the foregoing powers
The Federal government currently exercises authority far in excess of the enumerated powers. This problem has steadily grown over time.
We need a constitutional reset. We need to repair decades of legislative and judicial abuse. We need constitutional amendments that will restore the original principles of liberty and prosperity that made the American Dream possible. We need constitutional amendments that will prevent the current horror from repeating. Here are the constitutional amendments that will save America (Note 5).
1. Impose a Narrow Interpretation of the Commerce Clause
The People and the States originally delegated power to the Federal government to regulate commerce between the States. This enumerated power was granted to ensure free trade among the States. Under the Interstate Commerce Clause, no State can impose unreasonable trade restrictions on other States nor can a State grant preferential status to some States but not others. Another purpose of this clause was to prevent the development of State trade monopolies and cartels (Note 6).
Over time, the Commerce Clause has been too broadly interpreted to permit expansion of Federal power. Under this interpretation the Federal government can regulate any interstate activity – whether or not it is related to commerce. Thus, the Federal government has issued a cornucopia of infringements on State power. The commerce clause has even been employed to regulate commercial activity that has little or no interstate component. ObamaCare is a recent and especially offensive example (Note 7). In this instance, the commerce clause is employed to mandate that individual citizens purchase health insurance or face Federal penalties.
The 28th Amendment is hereby enacted to impose a narrow restriction on Federal power derived from the Commerce Clause.
1.1 This amendment specifies that Federal power derived from the Commerce Clause is limited solely to ensuring free and fair trade among States. The Commerce Clause shall not be construed to give the Federal government authority over any commodity, service, product or commercial activity conveyed across State lines; nor shall it be construed to grant Federal power over anything that has substantially no interstate or commercial component.
1.2 All Federal powers, authorities, jurisdictions, programs, projects, initiatives, mandates, fundings, functions, bureaucracies, rules, regulations, and all other matters not directly connected with free and fair interstate trade, are hereby invalidated and terminated without exception.
1.3 The Federal government shall phase-in an orderly discontinuance of all invalidated matters described in paragraph 1.2. All such matters shall be discontinued no later than December 31, 2018. The Federal government shall develop and implement such plans.
1.4 This amendment authorizes creation of an independent commission to oversee and guide implementation of the foregoing provisions. The commission shall consist predominately of business and financial leaders with representation from the States and non-voting representation from key areas of the Federal government.
(1) The commission is hereby invested with subpoena and investigative powers to collect information and sworn testimony related to its function. The commission is empowered to retain legal counsel in this regard.
(2) The commission shall have veto power and ultimate authority over how and when invalidated matters under paragraph 1.2 are implemented.
(3) All invalidated Federal powers belong to the States and the People. The commission shall be empowered, along with the States, to determine associated timetables concerning transfer and funding mechanisms of such powers.
(4) It is not the purpose of this amendment to transfer all Federal authorities, responsibilities or resources associated with invalidated matters to the States. It is the purpose of this amendment – and a first priority of the commission – to eliminate unnecessary and marginal functions with their associated costs.
(5) Congress shall pass no law and the Executive Branch shall issue no order, regulation or other decree infringing or impairing the function of the commission.
(6) The commission shall make semi-annual progress reports to the People and the States by issuing public statements and press releases. The commission will disband in March 2019 after making its final report.
2. Impose a Narrow Interpretation of the General Welfare Clause
The General Welfare clause is another abused area of the Constitution. Proponents of Federal power have used it to justify numerous Federal mandates and programs that otherwise have no constitutional basis (Note 8).
The Constitution enumerates a limited set of Federal powers, as detailed earlier. The General Welfare clause was originally intended to require the Federal government to use its enumerated powers solely for the general welfare.
The General Welfare Clause has been too broadly interpreted. This interpretation is used to justify almost any Federal intrusion on State power where the “general welfare” is involved. This intrusion has expanded Federal powers well beyond those originally enumerated by the Constitution.
The 29th Amendment hereby specifies that the Federal government may use its enumerated powers only for the general welfare. The General Welfare Clause shall not be construed to mean that the Federal government has the power to do anything that is in the general welfare. It does not. The Federal government has no powers beyond those specifically enumerated.
The 29th Amendment also contains similar provisions as the 28th Amendment – invalidation and termination of all unconstitutional Federal powers, a timetable and deadline for discontinuing such activities, an independent commission to oversee the process, and so forth.
3. Invalidate the “Living Constitution” Rationale for Judicial Activism
In addition to the Commerce Clause and the General Welfare Clause, another important rationale for circumventing the Constitution is judicial activism. The intellectual and so-called legal basis for judicial activism derives mainly from the concept of “a living, breathing Constitution”. Under this dubious premise, judicial activists legislate from the courtroom by interpreting the Constitution in ways never intended. The activist rationale basically claims that “times have changed” so constitutional re-interpretation is justified. This is an invalid and fraudulent principle.
Proponents of the “living Constitution” argument fail to comprehend the amendment process. The Framers understood that times would change and the Constitution would need to change with the times – but only as judged appropriate by the People and the States, not by judges or anyone else. Thus, an amendment process was incorporated into the Constitution for exactly this purpose (Note 9).
The amendment process is exacting and arduous. The framers deliberately did not create an easy mechanism for constitutional change. There were good reasons for this stringency – to check demagoguery, to avoid fads and whims, to avoid reactionary and emotional responses, to require a strong plurality, to protect minority views, and to generally foster stability and predictability. In other words, a high hurdle is imposed before fundamental changes to constitutional tenants can be made.
Thus, the amendment process makes it too difficult for socialists to advance their redistributionist, big-government agenda. This is because America is fundamentally not socialist. Americans mistrust big government. In fact, socialism and big government are decidedly un-American. This problem is circumvented by judicial activism, which invokes all manner of rationalizations for Federal intrusion beyond the enumerated powers. Thus, a single judge can overrule the will of the People and the States. This situation is intolerable.
The 30th Amendment prohibits judicial activism. This amendment specifies that judicial re-interpretation of the Constitution’s original principles and powers, done in a supposedly more contemporary light, is presumptive and invalid. The amendment clarifies that the Constitution adapts to changing times solely via the amendment process.
In other words, if amendments are warranted, the People and the States will enact them. If the People and the States do not act, it is because they do not believe such changes are important enough or exigent enough to warrant an amendment; or because the People and the States cannot agree on the nature or consequences of the change. No judge or Federal official may deem otherwise.
The 30th Amendment contains additional provisions that are also contained in the prior two amendments. Powers unconstitutionally derived from judicial activism are invalidated. Federal government funding, policies, regulations and other activities associated with these misappropriated powers are invalidated and terminated; they must be discontinued over a three-year period ending in 2017. An independent, non-government commission will oversee this transition and make regular progress reports to the People and the States.
4. Increase the Number of Federally Enumerated Powers
Having just proposed three amendments to drastically eliminate misappropriated Federal powers, we also recognize that the Federal government has taken on some beneficial and appropriate responsibilities, unconstitutional though they may be.
The 31st Amendment deals with this issue. It also contains a provision whereby the People and the States can rescind any delegated, enumerated power. In this way, if the Federal government isn’t doing its job or does it poorly, it can be fired by the People and the States.
4.1 In addition to powers already enumerated by the Constitution, the People and the States hereby delegate additional powers to the Federal government. These new powers are enumerated and restricted as follows:
- establish uniform food safety standards
- establish uniform drug safety standards
- establish uniform safety standards for handling hazardous materials
- establish uniform air, marine and land vehicle safety standards
- establish uniform worker and workplace safety standards
- plan, build and maintain an interstate highway system
- establish and operate a national agency for space exploration
- establish and operate a national library
- establish and operate a national historical museum
- establish and operate a national archive for government documents
- establish and operate a system of national parks
- establish uniform licensing standards for broadcast bandwidths
- negotiate and enforce international trade agreements
- collect, analyze, publish national statistics on business & commerce
- collect, analyze, publish national statistics on health & living conditions
- establish and operate a national center for disease control
- establish and operate an emergency response center for large-scale disasters
- establish a non-government export-import bank to facilitate foreign trade
- establish a non-government central bank to regulate the national economy
- make laws needed to properly execute the foregoing powers
4.2 States shall be bound to comply with all uniform standards enumerated in paragraph 4.1. States shall have sole authority to administer and enforce uniform standards. This amendment shall not be construed to grant any other Federal authority than to establish and maintain uniform standards as defined in paragraph 4.1.
4.3 In connection with paragraph 4.2 the Federal government may propose administrative and enforcement rules and regulations for use by the States. However, no State shall be bound by such rules or regulations. States may enact their own rules and regulations to comply with uniform standards.
4.4 In connection with paragraph 4.2 the Federal government may not establish uniform standards construed as unnecessary, onerous, unreasonable, invasive, impractical, or excessively costly.
4.5 In connection with paragraph 4.2 nothing in this amendment shall be construed as empowering the Federal government to limit, restrict, prohibit, tax, penalize or regulate anything that uniform standards judge to be harmful or injurious to health or safety. Such powers are reserved solely for the People and the States.
4.6 Congress shall make no law and the Executive Branch shall issue no order, rule, regulation, policy or decree other than those specifically and directly related to its enumerated powers, even if such laws, orders, etc., contain opt-out provisions for States.
4.7 The Federal court system and the Supreme Court shall not use foreign laws, foreign customs or traditions, or foreign standards to adjudicate United States laws or legal proceedings. These prohibitions shall also apply to the Executive Branch when issuing orders, rules, regulations, policies, or decrees.
Amendments 28-31 do not solve all of our constitutional problems. They solve most of them, however. Part 2, next, discusses additional amendments to restore government accountability and transparency.

The actual borrowing rate during fiscal 2009-2010 was 42%, according to the Congressional Budget Office. 4. The Federal power to admit new Territories and States into the Union is granted under Article 4, Section 3 of the Constitution. The power to tax is granted by the Sixteenth Amendment proposed in 1909 and enacted in 1913.
5 Since the Constitution currently has twenty-seven amendments, the proposed amendments are numbered twenty-eight through thirty-nine. This numbering does not reflect any order of priority. Indeed, the highest-priority amendments are among the last proposed – a balanced Federal budget, for instance. The more complicated amendments are proposed last.

Christians are expected to be tolerant of all religions, even the religions that consider us infidels and want to kill us, but tolerance seems to be a one-way street. The Supreme Court, ACLU, NY Times and other Progressives don't want Christians to be able to mention or display anything about Jesus, Christmas or even the colors of Red and Green in the public square or public schools. These same Progressives have no problem with displays in/or on government property that mock, ridicule and scorn Jesus, Christmas and the Christian religion, such as the Smithsonian Museum display of Jesus with ants all over his body. The Progressives are very fast to point out that this display is their right under the 1st Amendment, freedom of speech. Well if it is their right the be able to mock a religion on government property, then shouldn't be my right to display and praise my religion on government property.

Patriots Awake!!!!
Obama's Voo Doo Economics, his appointed CommieCzars and his comrades in Congress are destroying America.
No longer can Americans afford to be "Closet Patriots" and keep their mouths shut, their eyes closed, their ears covered and just sit on their hands and let out Liberty be stolen from not only us, but from our children and grandchildren.
We must vote this November 2nd for candidates that have read and will follow the Constitution, will read every bill before voting, who believes in smaller government, will cut spending to the bone, eliminate wasteful departments and programs, repeal ObamaCare, sell government ownership in publicly owned companies, and demand all companies that received bailout money to be paid back with interest.
If We the People are successful this November 2nd and replace these Socialist with true believers in the Constitution, we can not then go back to sleep and think our our patriotic duty is done. We must always stay vigilant, because the moment we take our eye off the government, it will try to steal our Liberty again. We must teach our children and grandchildren this lesson we had to learned the hard way.

5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career
6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
7. Congress must equally abide in all laws they impose on the American people.
8. All contracts with past and present congressmen are void effective 1/1/11.
The American people did not make this contract with congressmen, congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.

NO THIRD PARTY
People are angry and frustrated and some believe that the best way to take back our country from these Socialist in Washington is to from a third party. BIG MISTAKE! A third party would be the KISS of DEATH for our Republic. I wrote about this back in January, http://www.obamavoodoo.com/page19
A third party would delude the conservative vote and keep the Socialist Democraps in power.
The best way is to take control of the Republican Party. We can do this by supporting and electing conservative candidates in state primaries, then voting for them on November 2nd. Many primaries have already been held, and some conservative candidates lost. So what do we do when our candidates lose? Well then we support conservative candidates in other districts and other states.
One of the easiest ways of support conservative candidates in other districts and states is by opening our wallets and purses. If you want Conservatives to win, then you must contribute to their campaigns. I'm not talking about hundreds or thousands of dollars. I'm talking about supporting just five (5) candidates of you choice, and contribute $5 dollars to each. And if one million conservatives did it, that would put five (5) million dollars into each of the five campaigns. Now imagine if ten
million conservatives did it.
Let us conservatives not make the mistake of forming and/or supporting a third party. Let us learn from the enemies of America, the Socialist. The Socialist took control of the Democrat party. If we Conservatives want save our country and restore the Rule of Law, then we must take control of the Republican Party and elect Conservatives.

You may have heard in the news that a couple of Post Offices in Texas have been forced to take down small posters that say 'IN GOD WE TRUST' The law, they say, is being violated.
Anyway, we heard proposed on a radio station show, that we should all write ' IN GOD WE TRUST' on the back of all our mail.
After all, that's our National Motto, and on all the money we use to buy stamps. We think it's a wonderful idea.
We must take back our nation from all the people who think that anything that offends them should be removed.
If you like this idea, please pass it on and DO IT. The idea of writing or stamping...

IT'S ALL GEORGE'S FAULT!
Barrach and George are sitting in their kindergarden class and the teacher is reading the class a story, when suddenly the teacher is assaulted by a very pungent odor. She stops reading the story and slowly walks around the room in search of the source of this penetrating odor. The teacher stops in front of Barrach's desk.
Teacher: Barrach, I'm smelling a terrible odor, did you crap in your pants?
Barrach: It's George's fault.
Teacher: Barrach, I'll ask you again, did you crap your pants?
Barrach: Yes, but it's George's fault.
Teacher: How can you blame George if the crap is in your pants?
Barrach: Because yesterday George farted and it smelled.
Teacher: Barrach, that was yesterday, this is today.

Fast forward to 2010.
1. Obama has been president for a year and a half.
2. The Democraps have controlled of both the House and the Senate for the past three and a half years. While under their control the country has gone into the crapper;
a. Unemployment went from 4.6% to 9.9%.
b.The stock market went from 14,000 to 6,000.
c. Gas prices went from $2.15 per gallon to over $4.00.
d.The National Debt went from 7 Trillion to 13 Trillion and rising.
If you listen to Obuma, the Democraps in Congress and their stooges in the media, it is all George Bush's fault.
They may think their shit doesn't smell, but the American people know Democraps are full of it.

A THIRD PARTY IS THE KISS OF DEATH FOR THE REPUBLIC
Many Americans are angry and frustrated, and who can blame them, in the past year they have witnessed the methodical destruction of America. Obuma and his boot licking Democraps in Congress have taken our Constitution and flushed it down the White House toilet.
Many well meaning Americans believe that the only way to take back our country and restore the Constitution is to form a Third Party. I believe a Third Party would be the kiss of death for our Republic and a victory for the Socialist Democraps.
We can learn an important lesson from liberals. When they were angry and frustrated with the Democrap Party because it wasn't liberal enough for them, they didn't start a Third Party. What they did was to methodically take control of the Democrap Party. That is exactly what we should do, take control of the Republican Party.
In order to do that, we must first encourage conservative constitutionalist candidates to run for office in their State Primaries. Too many American don't vote in their state primary election, only 10% or 15% vote, that is why we wind up with candidates we must hold our nose in order to vote for them.
We must support these conservative constitutionalist cadidates in the primary and the general election. There are many different ways in which you can support these candidates, financially supporting them is one way, but there are many other ways. Volunteering to help is another way, answer and make phone calls, distribute campaign literature, put up lawn signs, write letters to the Editor, talk up your candidate to your family and friends, help to get out the vote.
Freedom isn't FREE, and if we sit back and expect someone else to do the hard work and we reap the benefits, then the Socialist will be victorious, and our children and grandchildren will pay the price with the lost of their LIBERTY. www.obamavoodoo.com

Back to the Future
In 1960 I read, William L. Shirer's book, THE RISE AND FALL OF THE THIRD REICH.
I recently reread this book, a monumental study of Hitler and the Nazi party, because it has so many alarming parallels to what is happening today!
In 1923, after the failure of the Beer-Hall putsch and Hitler's imprisonment, he was transformed from an incompetent adventurer into a shrewd political tactician, who rose quickly from Nazi community organizer to head of the Nazi party. In his book, Hitler laid out exactly how he planned to destroy the German Republic and remake Germany in his image, He concluded that the road to power lay not through force alone but through legal subversion of the German Constitution by building a popular political movement with support from the military, press, labor unions, industrialist, bankers, universities and political groups. He also knew that he had to suppress all criticism of him and the Nazi party, this was done by the Gestapo with street terror and intimidation.
Hitler's rise to power was greatly aided by the German government's poor response to the economic crisis of the Great Depression. In January, 1933, following Hitler's appointment as chancellor, he began laying the foundations of the Nazi state. On February 27th, the German parliament (Reichstag) building was set aflame by the Nazis, but Hitler blamed it on his political opponents. Hitler took advantage of this self made crises by using emergency constitutional powers, Hitler's cabinet issued a Decree For The Protection Of The German People. This decree banned political meetings, marches, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and many other constitutional protections, including all restraints on police investigations and permitted the arrest and incarcerate of political opponents without specific charge, dissolved political organizations. It also gave the Nazis the authority to overrule state and local laws and overthrow state and local governments.
On March 23rd, the German parliament transferred all legislative power to Hitler's and his cabinet. The military, economy, education, press, art, unions, banks, industries and the German family were now under Hitler's control.
On August 19, 1934, President von Hindenburg died and Hitler became both Fuhrer and Reich Chancellor. Hitler quickly appointed Joseph Goebbels to head the Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda. The Ministry's aim was to ensure that the Nazi message was successfully communicated through art, music, theater, films, books, radio, press and educational materials. The Nazis used the propaganda effectively convince the German people to support the Fuhrer and the Nazi party and the goals of National Socialism.
Many of those who supported Hitler in the beginning; military, press, labor unions, industrialist, bankers, universities, and political groups were all convinced that Hitler would their puppet and they would control the strings. They soon found out that Hitler was the puppet master and they were his puppets, and he was the undisputed dictator. They soon learned that if they didn't do exactly as Hitler ordered they would be imprisoned or dead. In the years that followed, Hitler was able to outwit his rival political leaders abroad just as he defeated his opposition at home. He then took his country into WWII and to its destruction.
It has been said that those who do not remember the past are condemned to relive it. Wake up America and may GOD save America.

Political Correctness Is Tyranny
Political Correctness (PC) is tyranny because it denies one the freedom of choice and the freedom of speech, and without these freedoms there is tyranny. The declared rational for this tyranny is to prevent people from being offended. It is a good socialist ruse, because no one likes to be offended, but once society embraces this form of tyranny and accepts penalties being inflicted on PC violators, then we all have surrendered our freedom and are nothing more than slaves.
This same mentality inspired the Nazis, fascist, socialist and the communist. They all knew that once the freedom of choice and the freedom of speech are denied, then they were free to create their totalitarian state.
Recently I received a posted message on my ObamaVooDoo message board, in which I was attacked using the most hateful language possible. What is the crime I'm accused of committing?
My crime is that I dare to sell Anti Obama products.
I was offended, but I didn't delete or censor the posting, it is still there for everyone to read because I believe in freedom of speech.
Hate Crime laws are just another form of political correctness. Hate Crimes laws treat certain groups differently, for example, the murder of a black man by a black man is not a hate crime, but the murder of a black man by a white man could be a hate crime, depending on what the white man was thinking at the time. In both cases a black man is murdered, but under Hate Crime laws, one man's life is more valuable than the other.
Another example of the stupidity of political correctness and Hate Crime laws is the mass murderer, Major Nidal Malik Hasan. Long before Hasan committed his heinous crime at Fort Hood, he was stationed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center for six years. While at Walter Reed, Major Hasan openly expressed his anger about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and got into frequent arguments about these wars. Also, he tried to convert his patients to Islam. Six months ago, Hasan came to the attention of Home Land Security because of his internet postings on Islamic Extremist websites. If Hasan was just a regular Army officer, and these warning signs were popping up, there may be an excuse for those around him not to recognize the warning signs. But Hasan was stationed at Walter Reed for six years, surrounded by doctors trained to recognize the insane hatred bubbling up in this Muslim terrorist, but no one did anything, in fact, he was promoted.
In the days to come, we will find out that many did believe that he hated the military and America and needed to be stopped, but because he was a Muslim, a protected class, no one was willing to say anything for fear of being labeled a racist. And if he lives, he will not be charged with a Hate Crime because he is a member of the protected class.
Wake up America, time is running out. It is time to kill political correctness, because it is nothing more than a Hate Crime against American Freedom.
